We thought we would anchor here to access the supermarket as suggested by others , but the river is very shallow and we had to row, it smells like a sewer. Once we got to the second bridge as others have said the two gates were locked and we didn't get ashore. The holding was good but it’s very exposed , not somewhere Id leave the boat for long as it resembles downtown Beirut.

Lidl is closer across the river. Somewhat adventurous. Apart from a lot of mud, dirt and wrecks you are waiting for crocodiles that come from the bushes ;-) However, be careful when mooring under the 2nd bridge. This place "belongs" to a local. And when he wants to go to his dock, he simply binds the dinghy. Bad luck. Secure with 2nd line to another stake. Just in case. The wrought iron gate can be opened, as well as the garden gate. Then you can already see Lidl. You could also walk down the street, about 500 m. In summer, at night, the mooring turns out to be a party mile. Full roar from 3 to 4 clubs until 6 o'clock in the morning. In the evening rather flee to the next bay. It is quieter there.

Lidl ist zwar über den Fluss näher. Etwas abenteuerlich. Pech gehabt. Mit 2. Leine an anderem Pfahl sichern. Just in case. Dann sieht man schon Lidl .

We anchored here for 4 days with SE/S winds up to 35 knots and a light thunderstorm. We were closer to the east & small boat harbour in 3-4m water. Not a scenic area but provided enough protection from the wind and anchor didn't drag. SE swell wrapped around Corfu town into here making it a bit rolly but we set up and anchor bridle to turn up nose into the swell which made it comfortable enough. Went to Lidl one day up the river which was fun, but the entrance is super shallow. try to pick high tide!
