First time we’ve ever anchored for the night. Beautiful spot but when the wind shifted to an easterly it turned into a bumpy noisy night as per the other reviews. Will look for something more protected next time. That said the anchor set no problem and held us firm all night.

Great lunch spot to watch the world go by. Can get busy. In summer sometimes an ice cream boat comes round but haven’t seen him yet this year.

Would consider lunch stop only in southerlies/south westerlies. As noted - quite lumpy due to passing traffic in be main channel.
