    Pangolin | Sailboat ~ 12.5 m

Good holding on some patches of sand but otherwise seagrass. The location next to mouse island is nice, you are close to bars and restaurants. It is quite busy with fishing and the mouse island ferry. Planes are close, so beware of the noise. Poor protection in NW winds as the wind will be funneled through the lagoon. Water is not clear here, probably sand from the lagoon.

Today 25 knots of northerly wind, we skid three times before hitching the anchor. We have to find the patches of sand. But pretty place, with the spectacle of planes and more ... and the noise that goes with it :)

Aujourd'hui 25 nœuds de vent du nord, on dérape trois fois avant d’accrocher l'ancre. Il faut trouver les plaques de sable. Mais endroit joli, avec le spectacle des avions en plus... et le bruit qui va avec :)

Anchorage is at the end of the airport runway. Good holding on sand, but there are patches of seaweed, and rock. An experience to see the planes coming into land right next to the anchorage. Ashore, there is a pretty little church, and a bar. You can go across to a little island next to the anchorage to visit the monastery.
