This is an alternative to the cove at the abandoned resort. It has ok protection from north winds, but a swell can wrap around into the cove. Don't go too close to shore. It gets shallow quickly. You will want to make sure you anchor on sand. There are many large slabs of rock, and smaller rocks, that will be an issue. There is a KTEL bus stop between the taverna and the Finikas hotel, with service to Naxos town. Or you can take a taxi for 35 euros. The hotel has a nice dinner.
