Beautiful white sandy beach when viewed from the water. However the the beach is strewn with washed up plastic and rubbish left by the partying locals. No facilities. We left Bizerte in a strong Easterly wind and swell and found relief from most of the swell after anchoring in 3 m. Gently sloping shore, so any depth can be chosen to suit the vessel draft as long as the shallow sand banks and gutters are considered . Submarine cable (marked on charts) departs to the NW from creek outlet in centre of the beach.
