Crystal clear water. Many fish which can be enjoyed snorkelling or catching to eat. Busy anchorage but beautiful spot. Anchor west (sand) or east (weed) of Port des Moines keeping clear of the buoyed channels into the port and the tour boat jetty to the west. Caution: pipeline runs (south-north) out from just east of the entrance to Port des Moines. In the port you can fill up water and leave the dingy on to explore the island. If leaving the dingy in the morning, leave it on the east side of the port as a big supply boat comes in the morning mooring up occupying the entire west side of the port.

Luck. Light easterly wind and very good anchorage. A pleasure to sit quietly despite the number of boats and a visit to the island of St Honorât. Recommended restaurant.

Chance.

Mooring 7 meters from the seabed, mixture of sand and seaweed, good hold. Impossible during the day, too many boats. Good protection in general. Magical and sumptuous setting at 7 p.m., few boats remain. Small port with mooring for tender for a stroll on the island, quite simply soothing.
