    Adventurous | Sailboat — 10.97 m

The anchor position is right on 19 degrees W, which is the harbour limit, and 300m from the beach. Depth was 10’/3m, and gently sloped to the beach. Visited by the Guardia Civil on the first day for check of passport and boat papers. They were happy with our location, and we stayed for a week. Dinghy was locked to the stairs that go over the rock wall every day. Afternoon Easterly wind in late May occasionally meant a low swell, and the surf was up slightly for returning to the boat. Lots of day boats on the weekend, but midweek we had the anchorage to ourselves. Free wifi from multiple locations with a booster (logon required provision of personal details). Due to the season, the anchorage had large numbers of people learning to use SUPS/Windsurfers/Sailing dinghies during the day which was quite a spectacle. There are extensive options for dining with large numbers of cafes and restaurants on the waterfront. Location is very close to Tram/Metro.
