Charming place, friendly people, easy to go a shore, if the wind comes from norths, you think your protected from the mountains, but it stil strong winds acelarated... you have the marina if comes bad weather. A lot of private buoys and very shallow water, but a lot of space, perfect to use after leave Menorca.

Very good anchorage, well protected and very quiet out of season. Many chests remain available and the city very pleasant. It is obvious that this is an anchorage and not a port, the gales can be violent there and have harmful consequences for those who abandon their boat there.
I’m so confused that none of the reviews for this anchorage mention that it’s FULL (and I’m talking 50+) of private moorings. The majority of which are boats with nobody on board. There was a large storm here back in Jan 2020 and 27 boats ended up on the beach as a result. We came here to wait out a storm in September 2020 because we read about the 360 protection but it was difficult to find a space and the holding further out isn’t great, so we ended up going in the marina. Yes it’s very pretty and it’s easy to go ashore but I wouldn’t consider staying here in any kind of adverse weather.
