Very busy and choppy during the day with day boats, but almost all of them leave at night. Good holding in sand, the closer to the dock and shore you can get the better the protection. The abandoned factory and mine make for a dramatic view at night and sunset. We took the dinghy to the beach near the old dock, there are about 3 venders selling panini and drinks. The bus to Canneto runs down to the beach car park at irregular times. It would have been easier to dinghy south around the corner to the top of Canneto and go ashore.

    Irradiance | Sailboat ~ 11.73 m

Great little spot, good holding in sand, clean clear water and unbelievable views. Alot of packed tourist boats that come speeding in creating huge wash during the day but they have to earn a living i guess and they are friendly. The town is nice, cheap restaurants and you can get a bus to the next big town, Lipari, which is great. Boat yard far left of bay, Massimo Pelusa, great guy and very helpful.

Unbelievable place, 5m depth, all sand. Lots of boats during the day. Warning: secure everything inside the boat during the day, lots of ferry's and power boats, if the waves combine forces will rock you out the boat.
