Very clear water helped by white pumice remains in the water. Old pumice factory is eerily interesting, but be careful of crumbling rocks. Not easy to get tender ashore but can be done. We stayed overnight with good holding.

perfect hold of the anchor at a depth of 5 meters. Beware of steel piles in front of the factory at approx. 38 ° 30ˆ680N 014 ° 57ˆ882E !!! Could be the remains of a footbridge. Even with calm water swell.

perfekter Halt des Ankers auf 5 Meter Tiefe. Achtung auf Stahlpfähle vor der Fabrik bei ca. 38°30ˆ680N 014°57ˆ882E!!! Dürften die Reste eines Steges sein. Auch bei ruhigem Wasser Schwell.

Very busy and choppy during the day with day boats, but almost all of them leave at night. Good holding in sand, the closer to the dock and shore you can get the better the protection. The abandoned factory and mine make for a dramatic view at night and sunset. We took the dinghy to the beach near the old dock, there are about 3 venders selling panini and drinks. The bus to Canneto runs down to the beach car park at irregular times. It would have been easier to dinghy south around the corner to the top of Canneto and go ashore.
