    Before port of Porto-Vecchio Beautiful anchorage to starboard of the channel of access to the port where one finds all trade and 1 large supermarket Casino on the D368 at 600m SW. We fill his cart, we go down with the port and leave it empty to the captaincy side N. Great !!! To visit the old citadel city above 15 minutes walk by its charm and its panoramic view of the gulf

    Avant port de Porto-Vecchio Beau mouillage à tribord du chenal d'accés au port ou l 'on trouve tous commerces et 1 grand super marché Casino sur la D368 a 600m au SW. On remplit son chariot, on descend avec au port et on le laisse vide à la capitainerie côté N. Génial !!! A visiter la vieille ville citadelle au dessus 15mn à pieds par son charme et sa vue panoramique sur le golfe

    Arrived early one morning by 20 knots SW wind. We leave the channel north of the green buoys after buoy Bfurcation. We quickly go to the big boulders and we wet by 4/5 m in the vase. I put 30 m of chain and I did not move with 20/25 nds of wind SW 'That chop in little but it holds. I nevertheless prefer to go to the port.

    Arrivé tôt un matin par 20 nds de vent de SW. On sort du chenal au nord des bouées vertes après la bouée Bfurcation. On vite d'aller vers les gros blocs rocheux et on mouille par 4/5 m dans l vase. J'ai mis 30 m de chaine et je n'ai pas bougé avec 20/25 nds de vent SW' Ça clapot en peu mais ça tient. J'ai néanmoins préfère aller au port.

    After very difficult communication via radio (messy traffic, overlapping communications, they leave you waiting for a long time without an answer). We enter, with assistance at mooring totally incompetent and inactive (they look, and they do nothing) assign me a much smaller place than the boat, entering WITHOUT assistance of the dinghy mooring that was looking at without intervening, I hit a boat. At my complaints, they are available to assign a larger seat, but before moving I hear on the radio that a boat with a damaged engine, asks for mooring assistance. The boat enters, still no assistance! they are there and look !! and in fact the boat misses trajectory and hits ... me. At this point I get pissed off, and in French I ask the dockers to intervene and do something to help, instead of just watching. Result? he insulted me. I give up the rest of the story, it is not very interesting, but I conclude: stay away from the mess of Porto Vecchio, disastrously absent mooring assistance.

    Dopo comunicazione molto difficile via radio (traffico disordinato, comunicazioni sovrapposte, ti lasciano in attesa a lungo senza risposta). Entriamo, con assistenza all’ormeggio del tutto incompetente ed inattiva (guardano, e non fanno nulla) mi assegnano un posto molto più piccolo della barca, entrando SENZA assistenza del gommone ormeggiatori che stazionava guardando senza intervenire, ho urtato una barca. Alle mie rimostranze, si danno disponibili ad assegnare posto più ampio, ma prima di spostarmi sento per radio che una barca con un motore in avaria, chiede assistenza all’ormeggio. La barca entra, ancora niente assistenza! stanno li e guardano!! e infatti la barca sbaglia traiettoria e urta... me. A questo punto mi incazzo, e in francese chiedo agli ormeggiatori di intervenire e di fare qualcosa per aiutare, invece di guardare e basta. Risultato? mi ha insultato. Lascio perdere il resto della storia, è poco interessante, ma concludo: state lontani dal casino di porto Vecchio, assistenza all’ormeggio disastrosamente assente.
