I’m adding another review here because we revisited this anchorage and went scuba diving. On the way back we noticed that there is a big colony of garden eels on the sand exactly where we anchored. I believe the anchor chain could cause problems to these little eels and perhaps the anchor more so. Anyway if you’re concern for marine like then perhaps best move to the more popular anchorage around the corner.

Remote and rocky surrounds, no phone coverage, but good holding in sand. There is a ridge of rock running the breadth of the bay in about 5m water and about 40m off the shore. The rocks that Shadowfax points out is about 40m to the NE of the waypoint provided for the anchorage. In .5m of SW swell it was a little rolly at night. Great snorkelling- we saw rays, schools of small fish and some large pelagic species.

Quieter than the anchorage around the corner. Anchor in 10m on sand. Try not to anchor closer in as there is a rock formation at around 6m which may be a hazard to an anchor. Lovely snorkelling around the bay.
