Good holding in the bay and absolutely beautiful scenery, particularly for sunrise and sunset. My personal advice would be to disregard the forecast from many good apps ie windy and expect 10-15 knots most days at some stage, as such lay extra cable down for some security. Night times are generally flat calm until the ferry traffic begins of a morning circa 06:30 after which expect a fair amount of roll etc. Overall, having spent a month on and off here I’d recommend it for it’s convenience to access the town. Be aware that there is no official dinghy dock however so be prepared to negotiate with locals with the old fort marina. If they get on to you expect a 20 E demand and to pay 10 E.

We anchored 200 m out of the boulevard, good holding. Sone megayachts at 300 m at anchor. Some rolling on the day due to distant ferries, calm at night but little wind. Even though close to the shore very quiet for a large city. We will pick up a passenger from the boulevard arriving on the airport Napels.

A breathtaking view, we inked easily at 8 meters and put 38 meters of chain, very stable ground, with acceptable roll. We were alone at anchor at the end of September and did not pay anything to access the marina with the annex (access is by passing under the small bridge next to the fort) I recommend
