When at anchor it’s okay but navigation between the many mooring buoys is a bit tricky. When entering the river mouth on several occasions, port control called me on vhf to instruct me to go here. Ones we arrived by nightfall and decided not to take risks but go further up the river, north around the corner. This is an okay place for a night but one must stay on board because of the very strong tidal currents.

Good resistance in 6 m of water, we slept very well, watch out for the tidal hours to enter or exit.

The mooring has a very good behavior, not at all painful for three nights. Small pontoon where to leave your annex, in front of a very good bakery. Be careful not to interfere with the ferry that shuttles every hour to Aveiro. The setting is not particularly charming because between a military and industrial area but perfect for those who wish to visit Aveiro.
