    Yala | Sailboat ~ 13.25 m

Good hold on 11 m in sand and sea weed. Did not give a good protection against 25-30 knots of wind from SE (as well as waves). Cala Rosso might have given more shelter but jam packed from the afternoon and onwards. Stayed here 2 years ago and it’s a nice place with clear water when the weather conditions are good

Much better than calla Rossa, no day boats and traffic, holding is OK but you must inspect the sea floor before dropping the hook, lots of rocks and possidonia weed, find good sand in approx 12-15mtrs of depth and you can be safe from highsirocco winds.

Night at anchor here because the buoys at Cala Rossa were not free nor was there room to give more there. Equally protected from ostro / sirocco which I knew would mount during the night. sand bottom but there is also posidonia.

Notte all’ancora qui perché le boe a cala Rossa non erano libere né c’era spazio per dare ancora lì. Ugualmente protetto da ostro/scirocco che sapevo avrebbe montato durante la notte. fondo sabbia ma c’è anche posidonia.
