Pleasant stop, very friendly village, protection only west.

Agréable escale, village très sympathique, protection uniquement d'ouest.

Very pleasant anchorage. Good holding (up to 15 knots) and plenty of space. Easy to take the dinghy ashore and tie up to the dock. Approached by a RIB at 10:30 the following morning asking for 20 Euro for “tax”. We refused to pay. She had a notebook and “wrote a ticket” about us. Will come back and update if we hear anything (which I doubt).

An inflatable from Area Protecta di Ventotene tried to levy 20 euros this morning for anchoring in front of Ventotene. Reason to pay was not clear, even for Italian speaker aboard. we refused to pay. The Italian boat near us also refused to pay. They eventually left. Scam ?
