Indeed, I was able to drop my anchor in front of the few remaining buoys and no problem. At the port a Uship and another more targeted fishing shop, both very well stocked (Butagaz at the fishing shop). Otherwise after the entry of the last boats the area is super quiet.

From speaking to the locals all the mooring buoys have now been removed by request of the beach front hotels. We anchored here after our cross over from Valencia. Very protected from the north, south and east. Hard to find a Sandy spot to anchor as it full of posidonia. There are a few patches with good holding if the anchorage isn’t too busy. We found the other anchored boats disappear in the evening which allowed us to move to a large sand patch in the anchorage. Great pizza restaurant ashore with a quay to tie your dingy up to.

Good place to get into town to the shops, laundry and buses around the island. There are spots of sand , not many so make sure your anchor is well dug in and lots of boats drag here in gusty wind. You can leave your dinghy over by the ports IB jetty to the far right as you face the club Nautica.
