    Possibility of failing on the mole, beware some rocks at the foot, identify at low tide. strong ferry current entering the mooring at mid-tide due to the dam.

    This is a very attractive anchorage in a relatively sheltered location, it is however not to far from the Rance tidal barrage, which is operated by Electricté de France, when the sluice gates are opened currents may be stronger than would normally be anticipated. There are many local moorings around, beware when anchoring and some areas dry out, l am not aware of any visitors buoys, the two marinas at St Malo are about ½ mile away.
