Great anchorage lots of space , holding on sand from 4 - 7 mts. Well protected even in a F7.

Can become very busy and lumpy during the summer season due to local motorboats coming out and anchoring for lunch and overnight. Otherwise a lovely location. Nice and peaceful once they have all gone home. Can be rolling in an Easterly wind. If so, shoot in the harbour for better protection

We spent a night here prior to crossing the Channel to Cherbourg. Comfortable and quiet. 15m with 2.5m draft meant we stayed out further and therefore suffered early on from the wash from high speed boats, but once the sun Set, it was great. Lifted anchor at 330am without concern and were in our way.
