    BACOS | Sailboat ~ 10.96 m

Very secure and very well protected anchorage. Anchored by 5/6 m vase very good hold. The village does not have much interest and neither do the ruins. In addition, the mooring is exactly in line with the runway at Bodrum airport ......

    Blue Moon | Sailboat ~ 17.68 m

Very safe anchorage. Free swing on eastern side in 5m or lines ashore if busy. Entrance is through ancient harbour building on the east and submerged mole on the west. At time of visit mole marked with large red buoy. Water and electricity available on village dock if you can find space. We anchored under the ruins of the fort. Magical spot!

Iasos Port with the remains of an ancient fortress tower at the entrance. Careful when entering as there's an underwater wall. Enter midway between the tower and the large red buoy. We anchored inside close to the improvised slipway and some laid moorings used by local boats. Good holding and easy to take a line ashore. Water was over 27°C in late July. Nice restaurants (avoid Ceyar), a few markets and an excellent coffee shop.
