Not the most charming ports by any stretch. I anchored out for a day or two and came in just to fill on water. A lady came and charged me 5€ for dock space for 1 hour. She said it was 8€ to stay for the night. She told me it was “the law” and that if I didn’t pay maybe nothing would happen but she would give my info to the port police and we would see what happened. I don’t recommend. I’ve never been charged for 1 hour on the dock before especially considering the dock was less than busy. Plenty of spaces of boats needed in. I recommend making sure you’re topped on water before visiting Tinos and staying on anchor and then if you want to rent a car and drive around it’s a nice island. And just to be clear, I was charged for dock space not for the water. The water is on a smart Marina pillar that you need to pay for as well.

Small port located on an island that deserves the detour. The port offers good protection against Meltem. The island is very interesting to visit. Scooters car rental agencies located right in front of the harbor. The only downside is that this port is noisy on weekends because Athenians come for the weekend. On Monday everything becomes calmer again. As you walk to the ferry port you will come across a local market where fresh vegetables are sold. No seafood.

    CATERINA | Motorboat ~ 5 m

Local resident 33 years offshore. Sail and engine. Main port on the left facing the city, ferry traffic quay. On the right, first, the sailboat and large engine dock. Water and electricity. About 5 to 7 m deep. Possibility to dock alongside the old dock near the kiosk. Or at the end of the quay. Further to the right, quay of the fishing boats, depth approximately 2 to 3 m. anchor possible in the center. Then join in the annex. Then more to the right the quay of a few motor boats of pleasure craft. Be careful, opposite the OKEANIS hotel, very shallow water that is hardly visible in a small swell. to be avoided completely. With southerly winds, the old port is to be preferred, because strong gusts. In a northerly wind (Meltemi), the old port is desirable. Because sometimes from 7 to 8 Beaufort.
