After reading all the reports about being asked to move from the anchorage inside the breakwater and hearing it from others also, we decided to anchor outside of the breakwater to the west. Not too bad. The wind picked up off shore but the holding is good in about 4.5 meters, sticky mud. We had some swell but managed to sleep.

The anchorage is of good behavior by 4 to 7m of bottom of sand and posidonia. Until 20h, swimming is dangerous at anchor because the jet skis pass very close to the boats. From 21h, it is very calm. Rough enough SW swell, but otherwise good wetting.

A good anchorage in suitable conditions. The sea breeze dies late in the day and the wind blows off the land at night. Anchor in seven metres as it shallows rapidly after the five metres mark. The holding is good in the sandy seabed. I had always anchored within the harbour previously but last time I was moved on by the marine police.
