Very good anchorage, well protected while waiting for the westerly wind to drop to go to the Marina

Très bon mouillage bien protégé en attendant que le vent d’Ouest baisse pour aller dans la Marina

Well sheltered from pretty much everything except East winds and swell. We went right up into the west end near the cement wall and the ground was full of trash which made it difficult to dig. Once in we held well. The West gusts can come through between the gully. The town is a wonderful little quay front through the lane way next to the marina. We pulled our dinghy up against the wall on the north west side of the marina to go ashore.

The harbour was too shallow for us, so we anchored just outside the mole in 7m. Good protection from a 20kn NW, and good holding in mud. Very pretty place! Ideal for a stop after the Rio Bridge.
