    Iduna II | Sailboat — 12.84 m

This large bay is busy with anchored sail and motor boats, and it's deep. Some areas of the bay also protected from NE. We anchored in seaweed/grass in 8m, near the fishing boats on the chart. Water clear. Most of the bay is 15+m deep. Hiding from Meltimi from NW. Wind in bay comes from W to NW. Depends where you are in the bay as to direction of wind. Dock, restaurants, provisioning etc available. I see an Appet vehicle in the local boat 'marina'. May be able to organise fuel. After 7 hours of constant 15-22kts of wind we eventually dragged and could not reset the anchor. We moved. This whole bay is seaweed/grass in sand. Anchor here in fair weather. The bay is noisy at night, loud music from restaurants.
