There are many white mooring buoys for use and the town is very pleasant. You can dinghy in but you will need to row the last 100m. And we were told to tie up our dinghy in zone E, for free for 4 hours. Good swimming. We stayed overnight and the wind was calm but it would be uncomfortable with a strong onshore wind. Very nice spot.

There are approx 20 buoys here. They are free, however you must get a park permit online to use them (at a cost of 11€/day). Vernazza is a nice stop but unless the weather is very settled I wouldn’t overnight here as there’s really no protection. There is a water taxi, but you can take your own dinghy in (you’ll have to row once you’re in he harbor as motors aren’t allowed).
