Stayed over night on mooring ball, charged £45 not recommended, when you can anchor just round the corner for nothing.very strong tidal run, challenging picking up a ball in 5 knots...

Very rolly due to non management of wake/speed from power boats ( mostly) entering and leaving Yarmouth. Water taxi is extra ( it shouldn't be really). Buoys graded by LOA, though ignored by some....so very close moorings at times. Strong tides can mak it difficult. Expensive for what it is. Go elsewhere and anchor, unless desperate, I'd say.

Very disappointing spot. We were outside of the harbour, very rock and rolly with a lot of traffic. Boats are very near to each other. The Harbour office charge you 24£ only to stay outside and charge you 10£ more for harbour taxi pick up and drop off. Anchorage some place else can be a way better deal ! Otherwise the city is lovely, but careful, they charge you (again) to walk on the pier ....
