We dropped anchor next to this little port to the right of the white construction on the beach to find sand, shelter from south to west. The village is 1.5 km away, small trade and a tavern bar. Possibility of a long hike to Cape Maleas. Name of the place Veladinia.

It is not a port, it is a refuge in case of need, as happened to us returning from the Cyclades. It is a suggestive place, devoid of tourist signs, To find something you have to go up the winding road uphill for over a kilometer

Excellent shelter from the east, west and south. Found this place on google earth. We were met by a local guy after we tied on up. He only asked where we were heading and was not interested in any small talk. We were able to side tie although med mooring lines were numerous and stayed for two nights. There is some nice trails around the area for hiking and a very small store in town. The men of the village fish off the pier at night and there are some friendly cats who will guard your boat for a Scooby snack. The place is beautiful but it’s real sleepy, maybe summer time is different but then it's probably filled with local boats. The resort town was closed and there boats were all moved ashore. It’s worth a gander :) http://Www.svseaodyssey.com
