    ESCAPADE | Sailboat ~ 10.54 m

Most unfriendly marina ever seen! I wanted to tie my 240cm zodiac for 1-2 hours. The guy there was really rude and called for 15, - €. I told him that was too much. So he reduced to 10, -. I offered him 5, - €, which he refused. So I left and drove to Marina di Vulcanello. Here was the creation of my zodiac free. Very friendly people there and perfect hospitality.

The marina is ok for a small island like Vulcano. Good amount of swell from the ferries. The floating marina moves a lot. You need to pay for using bathrooms and showers. Toilette 2€, cold shower 3€, hot shower 4€. Given that the price of the marina is 100€, for a 50ft mid July, I find it outrageous that you have to pay for toilets and showers. Also there’s a specific time for garbage 6am to 8am. And specific times for using water for filling up, which I don’t recall. If the weather allows, go to the other side to the bay and anchor.
