Camaret is a pretty little town, with a very special charm that is worth a detour. Port Vauban is easy to access, the pump located on the outer jetty is accessible 24 hours a day, I often make a pit stop easy to refuel. Out of season the marina office is closed, you must contact the port office in town. A phone call is enough. With the Covid, everything is closed, the food businesses remain.

Pretty good stop as a jump to cross the channel (or vice versa). Loads of comments about the lavatories here, and sure, they re not as fancy as the new ones in concarneau, but they do the job. And plenty of hot water! The Quay is full of restaurants, and a super u supermarket is at walking distance. Last but not least, plan some time to do a cliff hike, or walk up to the beach at the other side, cool spot!

Toilets and showers in the underground facility at Vauban Marina have been updated and are clean and serviceable with lots of hot water. All included with berthing fee of around €29 for an 11 m boat with three crew. The other toilets near the harbour office are not so good. Cameret is a great spot to break a journey if you don’t mind a good walk to the supermarket.
