Visitors pontoon controlled by Hamble Harbour Master (Hamble Radio VHF Ch68). 30 minutes free of charge - though radio first for permission! This is great location to sort a couple of things if you were pushed for time and needed to leave your berth before the strong ebb stops you doing so. Sailing schools also use this pontoon for berthing practice using the 30mins free of charge mechanism. Option to stay overnight on the pontoon for a fee payable over the phone to the HM. No facilities on the pontoon (it’s mid river, non walk ashore).

Friendly marina with good service facilities. Short walk into Hamble where there are lots of good shops, restaurants and pubs. Watch out for the current in the river when berthing.
