An excellent Marina I highly recommend. We used Nettuno as base for 2 months to run charters to the Aeolian islands. The staff here are great, Rosaria in the office was amazingly helpful with all of our questions. She would let us do short visits to the dock to drop off guests for free which is very kind. Power and water is metered but the prices are always fair. The chandeliers/ boat shop Formar is surprisingly good for parts. We grew to like Milazzo a lot, many nice restaurants if you go away from the ferry area, visit the fish market, incredible seafood and very cheap! No fuel dock at the Marina, you can find fuel on the opposite side of the harbour near to the entrance, if your draught is 2m you may have to wait to fuel between the hydrofoils though. Quite annoying!

Pleasant and secure 24/7 port facing the Aeolian Islands - courteous, efficient and available staff - Rosaria welcomes you with a smile and gives you all the good addresses to spend an excellent stay - In the heart of the city (but without nuisance), shopping: Caravello top fishmonger, Pagnotta & Salute bakery, supermarket, not to mention the Chantilly Café ice cream

Shelter in the marina is limited because there is no mole - just a 1 foot high floating dock. The town holds no charm. Loud noise from running generators on the ferries across the harbor all night long. What tops it off is that when i arrived, the marinero wrote down the price, E100 on the contract. The next day when i tried to leave, his colleague extracted E120 from me, showing me a E110 price per day in the price list and demanding E10 for electricity and water (we used little of either). E100 was itself an outrageous amount given what is on offer here and the early season. There are alternatives to this place. There are moorings just North of the harbor and there are two other marinas just North as well. You won't hear the noises that you hear in this harbor. Don't go here.
