It is a large wharf open to the bay. Water electricity price 18 € / day. The city is nice with restaurants, super market. Animated seafront in the evening. Total security as it is located in an area monitored by the police. Great service from the Saranda Summer Tours agency which takes care of all the formalities for a small fee, finds the berth and organized a tour of the surrounding tourist sites with a mini van and driver for an unbeatable price. I recommend +++,
RM1270 in August. We confirm the very nice and efficient reception of Saranda Summer Tours who acts as our agent for the exit procedures of the territory. Then we preferred to anchor in the bay. There is a lot of boat and especially a discotheque boat but the anchorage is not too rolling. Can not swim on the other hand and it is better to leave early. Seaside resort a little show off and with a lot of people. Strong contrast with Vloré / Orikum and Durres
Nice place if you want to feel the modern Albanian holidays atmosphere. We can't say the city is beautiful....it is modern high density place....ugly buildings from the modern times. Though the local market place has very good local products. The people are very friendly until now. The marina is very open to the South / South West swell. The concrete dock is very strong but very high above the sea level. There is a great dock for big big yachts ( over 30 meters). We dropped the anchor in 15 meters depth, and throw 60 meters of chain. No problem. Apparently good holding. Water is very clear , so you can run your water maker, but there is apparently water on the dock. We had 16A, and 32 A power born to plug the dock. The agent Jelna was waiting for us very gently, and she helped us to clear in. We did not had to do anything about it. All good. Good port of entry, weather allowing. We saw others yachts at the anchorage on the other side of the bay, but the weather was very good. So i can't say.
