Stayed at the Marina due to strong winds. The dock is floating but didn't seem like it was built to hold too many boats. It twisted and swayed violently during any wind over 20 knots. The dock master that tied us up was very nice and helpful. The dock master at night appeared intoxicated, was angry, throwing lines and yelling at a boat that came in right before dark. No bathrooms, no showers, broken water spigots, burned out power outlets. If it hadn't been gusting 35-40 knots we would have anchored. The dock appears to be an after thought. Not a proper Marina. No one checked the boats during the high winds. Only reason to come is the nearby town of Cefalu which is beautiful.

We went to the port (Porto Nuovo, call VHF on the 16th), and not to the marina. The omergiatori, very nice, we made the night at 40 € all inclusive (water and elec) for a 10m (against 80 proposed by the Marina, without service), it's acceptable. The port is the concrete pontoons, the (the) marina (s), it is the floating pontoons that leave the concrete pontoon. These price differences are incomprehensible, the port is cheaper and more comfortable ... We finally stayed several days due to a gust of wind and a good swell. Possibility to anchor in the bay during the day for swimming and enjoy a beautiful setting and resume its place in the evening. In the end, a good experience to wait for the weather window conducive to reach North Sardinia.

I went there to take diesel! attention because it is indicated on the cards that it has 4 meters of bottom at the service station at the bottom of the port !! there was only 20cm ... at the front of the port there is a hearth station. I got into it and went with cans through the pontoons at the bottom station. 1,8 € / l and I was able to fill my water tanks. normally paid but the nice guy seeing that I had a small boat did not ask me anything.
