Spent 2 winters on hard, very clean, organized and professional facility. Well stocked chandlery, good cafe, excellent marine services, best if you speak French but we got by w English. Can rent bikes to go to small town, good for provisioning. Also a VERY nice beach nearby which we didn t find until our second year. Great way to cool off after hot day working on the boat. Fair prices compared to Italy. Actually miss it.

It the past a reputation but that vanished over the years. Very windy and a boring place to stay for one or two nights. Good restaurant with fair prices. Long distance to St Louis du Rhone and an expensive ride to the airport of Marseille ( 1,5 hour ). In summer many mosquitoes coming out of the Camargue. ‘On the hard’ a good port for the winter. Be careful to deal with a company called Global Nautic at Port Napoleon. Awful experience we had with them!

Annual charges are fair. Services are comprehensive. Restaurant recently improved. There are biting insects from the Camargue and it is windy being at the mouth of the Rhône. It is a long way to the food shops in Port Saint Louis. The taxi fare to the airport is an absolute rip off. Overall a very good place to base a boat, to do boat work and to have work done.
