The marina is very large and is located in the commercial port area: the environment is impersonal, noisy. A few ship chandlers in the marina: we must be able to find or order everything there. We stayed for a month: last pontoon, T, at the back. Provide an electric scooter to go to the toilets. Toilets very good. Many shops and restaurants. Take the red cycle path on the right when exiting, follow it to the naval base: on the left is the shopping avenue of the capital. If we continue the cycle path to the main square with a large white sail, on the left we have the street which leads to CICAR direct. And to the large beach at the NO. To the north of the city, a huge shopping center and a Carrefour. Special feature: you pay for your stay when you arrive! We will return to Gran Canaria, the island is beautiful. But probably not in Las Palmas: no soul in the marina ...

After 3 days on the waiting list, we were given a place in the marina by the office who called us directly. We moved the following afternoon and got very professional help from marineros who welcomed us with their dinghy and assisted us with the pontoons and lines. Great team at the office. Shower card is 5 euros, there are multiple points for bathrooms and a self service laundry ( 8€ for an 8kg machine). Numerous ship chandlers on the marina front.

Arrived at night, I easily moored at the reception pontoon. Very friendly welcome, the mariners fortunately helped me to take the site by 20kn of wind! Correct pontoons and impeccable Dani te areas. Quite a few ships, a few bars and restaurants and a very mini mini-market. The price system is unusual but quite economical if you stay a few days. For my 34 'I paid around € 17 for one-off cards and fees and € 7 per day.
