Port Soller is lovely and an easy walk or tram to Soller for some culture and more diverse / bigger shops. There’s also a lovely train station connecting Palma. PortsIB prices are reasonable for the Balearics so set up an account if you don’t have one. There aren’t many transient berths available in Port Soller so it’s hard to get in. Holding is ok in the anchorage otherwise but it’s silty sand so you’ll likely drag with winds above 30kts, depending on your anchor. The marineros didn’t meet us at the pontoon when we got in, which is strange for a PortsIB marina. Showers are basic but clean. There’s a self service lavandería within 300m of the marina but it’s not the cheapest. Lots of good food options to suit all budgets.

Nice little harbor and almost no alternative if you sail up the west coast. Tip: take the small train into town

2 nights at the "transfer mole" were cheap with 60 € (make a reservation). Toilet / shower clean, although open to all, even for the Ankerlieger! With the tram to Soller for 7 € is an experience, on foot 40min return, by bus for 3 € to Palma in 45min or the more expensive train! Anchor reason in the harbor rather silt, moderate stop at the second time (outflanked at 2000 revolutions), sector fire not active in October - approach at night yet problem-free. Diving, hiking very possible
