No sailor comes to help the mooring. It seems to be the trend in this port of IB, in the others the service in that impeccable sense, here I do not know why it is different.

No viene ningún marinero para ayuda al amarre😡. Parece ser que es la tónica en este puerto de IB, en los demás el servicio en ese sentido impecable, aquí no se porque es diferente.

Called marineros on ch8 on approach and came to take lines. Choose where to berth, plenty room as extended pontoon put out for summer. Very helpful. Went to office to complete paperwork. Water standard connection and normal 16amp electric. Absolutely beautiful town of Port Soller joined by 1/2hr tram ride to Soller €7. Catch old wooden train to Palma for a great day out €25. So many lovely restaurants in Soller and pop in supermarkets, nothing too big like Mercadona. All in all a great stop for 4 nights to explore.

PortsIB marina with sensible prices to match (€20 for 12.2m monohull in May 2020). The marineros do not assist with mooring lines (med mooring), and if other boats have not moored evenly this can mean some slots only have one slime line. The showers and bathrooms are simple but clean, hot water seems to run out by 9am. There is a self service laundrette just 300m from the marina. Excellent bus service to visit other parts of the island (we recommend the app moovit). If you pay by tapping your credit card on the bus, up to 5 people can travel together, and the price gets progressively less for each person, but remember to tap off as you exit the bus). Superb walks/hikes ashore. For the adventurous take the G221 a three hour hike through the ancient olive groves to Deia
