No response to phone or email so we didn’t go there by boat.

Nice marina, a little old but very friendly, and the location is ideal for visiting the village above. Capricious WiFi at the Captain's Office

Jolie marina, un peu vieille mais accueil très sympathique, et l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter le village au dessus. WiFi capricieuse au bureau de la capitainerie

I believe that the review by Jean Marc is for Marina de Gammarth which is 4nm north. Email for Sidi bou Said is port-sbs@topnet.tn. Entrance badly silted up so stay well clear of breakwater. Google map photo accurately shows sand in August 2019. Best track is the beach side of green buoy and close to fuel dock. Marina users have seperate toilets and a single shower at the back of reception building. You may need to get the key from reception if the attendant is not present. Marina water is dirty with fuel slick covering most of the marina. Wifi from router in cafe is slow as no external antenna. Payment for berth must be in cash. Taxi is best caught at beach next door to marina. Taxi using meter (compteur) to Sidi bou Said railway station is 1.400 TND. Train to Tunis is 0.700 TND, or Bardo museum is 1.100 TND (you need to change trains at Tunis Marine terminal to either line 1 or line 6, then change at Place de Barcelone to line 4). Local supermarkets are small. Carrefour Tunis is only 6.5km (11min by taxi) and costs approx 4 TND (€1.30) each way. For return trip ignore the taxi mafia at the entrance and walk into the car park to find a waiting taxi that will use the meter.
