Guernsey is nice to visit Victoria Marina is terrible Expensive. Awful WiFi. Bad shore power connections (can’t even keep up with powering the 12v fridge) Toilets and showers were out of order for planned works which staff didn’t notify visitors about Laundry uses £1 coins only. The local shops mostly use only £1 Guernsey notes so impossible to use the facilities. Staff couldn’t help! Fuel pontoon only open Monday to Friday at obscure times (which the staff didn’t know!) Visited hundreds of marinas however this one was by far the worst. Absolutely terrible

Visited on very busy August Bank holiday weekend. Staff were helpful (although tried to get me to berth a 41 ft boat in a 35ft space initially!). Once rafted up well sheltered.

Guernsey is delightful and well worth a visit. We enjoyed visiting the beaches and wandering the old streets of St Peter Port. In terms of Victoria Marina, the swell was extreme at high tide and sheltered at low, this led to uncomfortable nights sleep. The showers are being refurbished as I understand. The only thing that we struggled with was finding the recycling points which were about a 10 minute walk away from the marina, there is electric and water, the welcome was friendly and the staff couldn’t be more helpful!
