Correct shelters by easterly blow. However deep enough anchorage between 10 and 12 meters which tends to slip. Put on a little more chain to be serene.

Supposed to be sheltered by SE wind, this is not the case at all on a gusty night. Brilliant on the ground in summer.

We anchored in 12 metres to shelter from a strong East wind, first attempt we dragged and brought up a dinghy trailer attached to our anchor. This was exceptionally difficult to remove as we drifted in strong winds. The 2nd time we anchored without dragging but once again when we pulled up the anchor we had a metal cable which we had to remove from our anchor. Suggest you anchor here shallower when conditions allow you to find the sand patches. See the photo.
