Spectacular setting for an anchorage. On buoy only. Expenses: the amount requested by the boat boy for the mooring at the buoy (it can be 10 / 15EC while discussing). Fees for the SMMA (55EC for 1 night) By cons, there is only one hotel on land and so do not wait to buy things for the edge or to visit since this anchorage (prefer the Soufriere) To do at least once for its setting!

incredible view excellent protection from the east wind but a lot of gusts from the mountains. Very deep.

Beautiful spot to spend the night! A bit windy at time between the two mountains. Very deep and difficult to anchor. The white mooring balls are maintained by the park service. You can pick one up and at some point the park police will come by to collect their mooring fee, which was 56 ECD or about $20USD. Beware of the boat boys who will try to charge you about the same price to help you tie up to the mooring. One is able to access the beach and leave a dinghy at the dock on the Western end of the shoreline. The majority of the beach there is part of the Viceroy Sugar Beach, but the very west bit of it is public. We wanted to meet friends who had rented a car, but they would have had to pay $50USD per person at the hotel gate at the top of the road, so we had to walk up to meet them. It is less than a mile but very steep and took us about 20 minutes. We were told that the hotel would give you a lift to the gate if you buy a drink.
