Cove well protected from easterly winds. Shallow (~ 10m) but it falls dry at the level of the ribs. The wind coming from the harbor of Fort de France tends to coat and accelerate around the northern tip of the cove causing small gusts. When we passed there were jellyfish, too bad because it looked like a good snorkelling spot. On the other hand, a magnificent wild setting, we decided to stay there for a second night. We were only 3 sailboats. The pontoon with its portico adds a charm to this black sand beach. Note that you can drop off your trash by going up the stairs on the right. Better anchorage until :)

Beautiful setting. Well protected. We came on a local holiday (Mardi Gras) and there were 10 sailboats anchored, making it a bit crowded, we dropped anchor on the outside in 11 meters, sand with lots of weed, holding was good. Winds shift greatly, so leave extra room for boats to swing. Good snorkeling along north and south walls, southern point is the best with the most fish.

Good place for overnighting. Wind swings different boats anchored on the outer part of the bay. Holding well on 6 m. Nice walk to next white sand bay. Ther are couple bars/ restaurants there.
