The island is very picturesque, almost set back in time. The mooring buoys were bouncy during our stay but I believe we had mainly Easterly Winds. The water taxi was very efficient, even passing our a duty free leaflet and offering to deliver! We didn’t use the shower facilities, but I believe they are coin operated. Alderney is well worth a visit especially if you like bird watching! We cycled round the island in the sunshine and thoroughly enjoyed it. Braye chippy does fantastic fish and our meal at the Braye Beach Hotel was delicious!
