A practical and protected anchorage on the west coast. However a lot of water jets and powerboats hanging out and showing off (this was a weekend, maybe better in the week?), zipping through the anchorage at insane speeds (30 kts.?). We witnessed a near accident with some snorkelers at the wreck where two jets missed them by few meters. The water is all milky and low visibility, can hardly see the contours of the wreck. During the night garbage was burned off somewhere inland and we received some ash and smell. We had a nice climb to the outermost island, there's a small patch of sand where you can land the dinghy.

Great overnight spot, watch out for the wreck on entrance though! Last year, the mast stuck out higher and there was a red buoy on it marking it, now the mast is shorter with no buoy! Easily mistaken for a turtle!

Mostly sand bottom. Good hold. Can anchor quite close to beach in 2-3 meters. Short hike to fort on the hill. Beautiful Bali-style cabins. Water clarity is very poor. Beach is nice, but no public bar or restaurants near the beach.
