Magnificent anchorage, be careful with the direction of the swell!

Magnificent anchorage (but somewhat rolling) in the middle of a volcanic setting. Possibility of leaving the annex on the black pebble beach (beware of the shore break) and from there take the incredible 3-hour hike around Ponta Saõ Laurenzo. Great for diving, especially at the arch, at the end of the point (an internet fishing license at 5 euros seems necessary)

Very good hold in clean sand bottom 8-10m. You can easily see the bottom and check your anchor. Strong downdrafts from the cliff, but that’s no problem. Great snorkeling and diving straight from the boat. However difficult to your land your dinghy, but it might be best to land it at the dock where the tourist boats go, SE in the anchorage.
