Good sandy bottom. We are tucked close in to NW corner of bay and have put a long line ashore. Still some rolling but bearable. Water is cloudy, probably the river water, maybe sand stirred up. Excellent long sandy beach but village is not a pretty one. Only found 1 rather down at heel supermarket for provisions. Some tavernas by the river which looked fine, we didn't partake. The anchorage just round the corner at 2 Rocks Bay was much prettier, better shelter and clear water.

Superb mooring. Quiet and pleasant, good behavior. Nice place.

Superbe mouillage . Calme et agréable, bonne tenue. Bel endroit.

  • A little swell but excellent holding. Very nice sandy beach. Few places because many local boats (fishing, excursions) but possibility to moor at the dock up the Acheron. A mythical river whose underground waters feed the Styx, the river of the underworld.
