Stopped for a night. Absolutely stunning location, with a little pub in the village. £25 per night for the mooring buoy.

Helford River is a delightfully peaceful place to visit while away a few days. Visitor mooring buoys are green in colour and clearly marked. Expect to raft in high season but don’t let this detract you from coming here! Two delightful pubs on either side of the river, in addition to the Helford River sailing club that welcomes visiting Yachtsmen (£1 / shower - 8mins) and has a nice balcony for a beer. Sailing club pontoons have hammer heads where you can, with sufficient rise of tide, moor up to take on fresh water and drop off recycling and rubbish. 30mins max stay to be fair and equitable to other boats. Recommend the Trebah Tropical Gardens. £12 / adult, but well worth the entry fee. A photographers paradise and a lovely way to spend a morning / afternoon. It’s a 15 min walk from the Ferry Boat Inn - initial 200m are a little steep walking up from the river though!
