Beautiful bay, weed bottom with sandy patches. Pebble beach. Small dinghy dock in front of restaurant. Some wake from passing ships.

Pleasant mooring with good protection, good performance once the thick layer of algae passed. The small town of Kassiopi is perfect for bunkering.

Agréable mouillage avec une bonne protection, bonne tenue une fois l'épaisse couche d'algues passée. La petite ville de Kassiopi est parfaite pour l'avitaillement.

We anchored here after crossing from Italy and waiting for the 1st of the month to start paying the new Greek boat tax TEPAI. The holding isn’t great and it’s most weed, we watched a lot of boats dragging anchor when the wind got to 15/20 knots. With a 6x1 scope and heavy chain and anchor we held position but our anchor wasn’t through the weed I Wouldn’t want to test this anchorage in an onshore wind as its likely to leave you on the beach or worse still on rocks It is fairly pretty on the seaward side and is visited by glass bottom boats etc - the land side is a big wall and a road so a little ugly and somE traffic noise
