Great anchorage, very well protected. However, the security guy at the marina did not allow us with the dinghy.

The hold is good in the sand, but be advised this is an acceleration zone. I spent 50 days anchored here and experienced 50knot gusts when the forecast read 15knot. I spent a total of 5 nights in port due to southerlies. The port staff and especially the harbour master were very helpful and polite. I was allowed to water at the beach showers and there is a Spar less than 10 minutes walk from the beach.

The anchorage is 0.1 m SE of what indicated. We spent three nights here with wind from SE and it was very well protected. Easy access to the town with shops and restaurants. There are also very nice walks.
