Last year we were here from August to October and it was perfect. In 2021 we arrived in April. A little bit cold and in this season if you want to stay in this area on the anchor comfortably you have to move when the wind and the swell changes. When there is a low system from the south go 7 miles to Corralejo, when the wind comes from the north-west, go 2 miles to the anchorage at the entrance to Rubicon marina. When the wind comes from the east or west go to Lobos island 7 miles away (amazing anchorage). When it’s north-east stay here :) it’s beautiful...🌴🌞⛵️

Beautiful corner. It's rock everywhere covered with a little sand. Suddenly, it holds well once hooked. The water is clear and allows you to check the anchor without diving even in 10m depth. A bit of a roller. Oddly enough, it often breaks on the beach and arriving by dinghy is not always possible, even in good weather. Nothing nearby in terms of commerce (all closed because of covid) but for those who like to walk in the gravel (yes, it's the Canaries ...), there are some nice walks to do. Worth landing there for 1-2 days.

Beau coin.

Effectively sand and rock bottom. Good ink retention once in sand. Wind around 20 kt. Rolling anchor in a NE wind, not very comfortable although we are a catamaran. Very beautiful landscape and large sandy beach.
