Great anchorage inside the harbour with good protection except for South swell that make you roll a little. COVID : Call marina on arrival to arrange Covid test : +351 291208618 or email them at marina.portosanto@apram.pt ; On our arrival we got tested the next day and result in one day. Super friendly staff of the marina. We stayed there a month and two weeks out of water to repair our hydraulic keel with help from the marina yard. Dinghy access to shore at the little marina. Cafe on the harbour, Supermarket Pingo Doce is 10mins walk and with great choice. Ferreteria in the village for harware stuff. Friendly ship chandler in village for fishing and boat accessories (porto Santo Nautica, call Heber Costa +351 966419038 ) Two bicycle shops in village, we rented a quad for 24 hours ( 50eu) to make a tour of the island and visit the place with fantastic views on the rocks and ocean. Porto Santo is definitively a small paradise ! Chris & Sudy on Jiujiu ⚓️⛵️

Nice anchorage good holding in 7-8m. Anchorage area from shore to yellow buoys (2). Don’t go more to ferry quay, ferry turns inside the breakwaters. Arrives in morning and leaves late afternoon. Covid: call HM on VHF09 between 0900 - 1700. Or email in advance: marina.portosanto@apram.pt. Also register on website Madeirasafe. The marina will contact the hospital and arrange a test for you, we had ours at 12:00. Result next day early morning. Super arrangements by marina!!

Very friendly staff. Covid-19 test quickly and then all freedom. Do not anchor too far east in the harbor basin. I caught a monster twice and drifted away with it. Anchor ground approx. 8 m. With 25 m. Chain is ok. The wind sometimes comes in gusts and from all directions. Shopping in 25 min. Water on request from the master. Approx. 5 € / day. Have been here for 3 weeks and stay 3 more.

Seh freundliches Personal. Einkaufen in 25 min. Wasser auf Anfrage beim Meister. Ca. 5€/ Tag. Bin seid 3 Wochen hier und bleibe noch 3.
