We loved this anchorage. Easy to reach fhe village with the dinghy either by leaving the dinghy on the beach closeby or go 500 meter south and dock it to the boulevard. We had a lovely evening at the Cocktailbar Limone with live music and a view on our boat.

Anchor at 6 m depth outside the small boat yard. Some wind from east, force 2-3 but no swell so it is ok. Clearly more tranquil than south of the harbour entry. Seabed seems to be lava sand.

Great for access to Santa Marina town. Anchor in 5m opposite traditional boatyard in volcanic sand, good holding and reasonable protection from the numerous ferries and their wash. Dinghy is safe on the beach. All good
